NZouk

NZouk and membership

NZouk is a team of dance enthusiasts whose aim is to grow the Zouk scene in Christchurch and New Zealand. NZouk was founded in 2010 to promote Zouk in New Zealand, initially through the organisation of classes and social events in Christchurch. In 2012, it became NZouk Dance Incorporated; the organisation responsible for bringing the popular Brazilian Dance Festival to New Zealand. Over the years NZouk has grown with the annual festival, allowing it to pursue its wider objective of expanding the Zouk scene in Christchurch and further afield in New Zealand.

For an annual membership fee of $5, dancers with a passion for Zouk are entitled to reduced ticket prices at all NZouk events. Members will be kept informed by email of additional offers as they become available. In most cases it is cheaper to purchase a combination of membership and an event pass, as this entitles the purchaser to an immediate discount that is greater than the difference in pass price; thereby making the purchase of annual membership essentially free. We look forward to welcoming new members into the organisation.

NZouk consists of a management committee shown in the profiles below.
